The primary challenge faced by the client was the manual effort required for the wide research, data collection and data labeling. Human judgment was mandatory to train AI and verify the results produced by the system. Odetta initiated a two-phase project in collaboration with the client’s Operations and Data departments. Firstly, manual research was conducted to extract detailed descriptions of each high school program. The information collected included application information, deadline dates, number of sessions, relevant YouTube videos, expert reviews and relevant information available on media. In the second phase, GPT-4 was employed to train the AI model to tag each program to relevant interest categories provided by the client. The integration of GPT-4 and Google Sheets streamlined the data labeling process, combining the efficiency of AI with human oversight.
