Fall in Love with Odetta🍁🍃

*|MC:SUBJECT|*

Dear Reader,

Fall is upon us! Another month has come to an end, and just like that, we are ready to embark upon a new one and a new season.

I’ve just recently returned after taking two weeks off-line and when I returned, I quickly found myself bogged down in the social media noise and a really long list of action items. I realized that it’s just not healthy to let ourselves get bogged down in all the noise, so I decided to focus on what makes me happy and whole.

After re-reading Tim Ferriss’ 4-hour workweek, I implemented the Pareto Principle, which is the idea that in order to optimize your time, you should focus on the critical 20% of activities that generate 80% of the results. I prioritized my list of action items to identify the “Top 10” most critical items to do in the next 30 days that would most impact Odetta.ai. And, then as I broke these top ten items into smaller discrete tasks, ranging from automating onboarding to building prospect sales lead lists, my short Top Ten list was organized into tasks that had discrete outputs not requiring too much further instruction from me. Then, I found the best team members to delegate to and gave them strict and short deadlines. Parkinson’s Law states that work expands to fill the time available for its completion – meaning that if you give yourself a week to complete a two-hour task then psychologically speaking the task will increase in complexity and become more daunting so as to fill that week. By assigning just a week for a task, my goal was to reduce the complexity of the solutions and quickly make progress.  Thankfully, I’m surrounded by a great team at Odetta who bring out the best in others and flourish in tight deadlines.

Many of you may find yourselves buried in action items as the days seem to fly by before the end of the year.  Remember Odetta.ai can help!  There’s honestly never been a better time to delegate your work and build an Odetta virtual team that can help you and your team get those big objectives completed.

Lastly, in closing, we are living through tumultuous times, but now more than ever, it’s important to surround yourself with those that bring out the good in you and to remember to smile, laugh and find the joy in the distractions, the little moments and yes, even the action item.

Be well,
Katharine

Client Spotlight

"I hired Odetta to assist with a laborious list-building project in support of a regional marketing outreach effort. The team swarmed this project and absolutely knocked it out of the park in record time, and made my efforts in administering the project as easy as I could have asked for; it was that rare customer experience where I hired them and they just made it happen."

Monthly Spotlight: Manual Validation

Increasingly, companies want to automate, but some things just don’t make sense to automate– and that’s where Odetta can come in. Odetta trains teams to validate data in real-time almost as if it’s being automated, but there is still a human touch behind the delivered product. Ideal for validation that requires a set of complex steps, we’ve worked on background checks, validating profiles, and document checks. We’ve delivered these projects into clients’ portals without traditional bottlenecks that come with manual validation projects.
